Research

The study of intermolecular interactions and their manifestations through optical spectroscopy of gas phase molecular and covalent clusters.  The particular systems of interest have been organic solute/solvent clusters, solvated organic radicals, and metal oxide clusters.  Both energy levels and dynamics of these clusters are investigated experimentally and theoretically. Chemical reactions and reaction dynamics are also studied for the radical, metal oxide, and certain solute/solvent clusters.
